An outstanding replica of K5054 the "First Spitfire to Fly". Built by Supermarine.A Collectors' piece of great importance. This was the prototype for all Spitfires to follow.

A tribute to all those N.C.O's and Officers who flew these machines, including Hurricanes; the workhorse of the Battle of Britain and also to all those Servicemen and Women on the ground who kept these machines operational and airworthy.
Designed by Reginald Mitchell and his key players in the birth of the Spitfire, Captain Summers who flew the K5054 on her maiden flight, Major Payne, Mitchell's personal assistant, S. Scott-Hall, Technical Officer, Jeffrey Quill who became the chief test pilot. This precision sculptured model is cast in solid pewter, 1/72nd scale, with a wingspan of 16cm.
